When is TBL1XR1 – Related Disorder Day? This day will take place on February 10 of each calendar year.

What is TBL1XR1 – Related Disorder Day? National TBL1XR1 – related disorder Day is to raise awareness for this rare genetic disorder. TBL1XR1 – related disorder is a neuro-developmental disorder caused by a genetic mutation and can affect almost every system in the body and is associated with autism, intellectual disability and epilepsy. There is currently no treatment or cure for TBL1XR1 – related disorder.

Why is this day being celebrated or observed? This day is being created to help raise awareness for this newly discovered genetic mutation that causes TBL1XR1 – related disorder. Since this disorder is so recently discovered, it has been much harder to raise awareness and educate people about it. I am also personally creating this day to honor my daughter who is affected by TBL1XR1 related disorder as she was diagnosed in February 10th.

How should this day be celebrated or observed? This day should celebrate the lives of the kids and people currently living with TBL1XR1 by raising awareness and educating the public.

Who created this day? This day was created in September 2021 by Bianca Izquierdo.
