When is this day? April 29
What is this day?
National Supply Chain Day is a day where all companies leading in supply chain can come together to spread knowledge, share recent upgrades and new tech in their supply chain and connect.
The US spends $688 billion on transportation alone each year, only 6% of organizations have true supply chain visibility and supply chains account for 2/3 of a manufacturer’s total cost of doing business—the supply chain industry is huge, and it is how the world is connected! The world is connected through our supply chains — we need to harness emerging technology to make our supply chains more efficient and sustainable.
Who created this day? This day was created by Point A in 2020.
How should this day be celebrated? The Point A Supply Chain Innovation Hub has almost 40 unique supply chain organizations that are members who are willing to share their supply chain journeys. We would love to partner with other similar organizations for a National Supply Chain Day!
