When will National She Survived Herself Day be celebrated? October 11th of each calendar year.

What is National She Survived Herself Day? A day where African American women celebrate the ability that they have decided to keep living. No longer to take their lives by their own hands. No more self-sabotage, both physically and mentally. Women worldwide that have overcome mental health and is still in the process……mental health in terms of depression/anxiety etc.

How should National She Survived Herself Day be celebrated or observed? Every woman gets their pin and wears it or placed it in their hand.

Why was National She Survived Herself Day created? Celebrate the fact that African American women no longer want to commit suicide. Suicide is no longer an option and they have made the conscious decision to do this. Celebrating women globally that now see life as an opportunity instead of a burden and want to share that with others to keep going and not give up.
