Offering recyclable refills for skincare and cosmetics is crucial in reducing pollution and minimizing landfill waste. By encouraging consumers to reuse durable containers and opt for refill options, brands can significantly cut down on single-use packaging. This approach helps conserve resources, reduces the carbon footprint associated with manufacturing and transportation, and aligns with sustainable practices that appeal to environmentally conscious consumers. It encourages others to be serious and part of eco friendly practices. We call the program Treasure Not Trash.

Why was National Refill Day created? We would like to encourage our industry and others to offer refills to help keep our planet safe and beautiful. We chose April 1 to launch National Refill Day as it is Earth Day Month. Making wise decisions regarding waste and keeping waste clean and cutting down on landfill sizes will massively help our environment and help consumers become aware of the ever important pollution problem.
