National Man Enough to be a Girl Scout Day

What is National Man Enough to be a Girl Scout Day?

National Man Enough to be A Girl Scout Day, sponsored by the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas, celebrates male volunteers and community leaders who positively impact a Girl Scout’s personal growth, leadership skills, and overall development.🦸‍♂️It emphasizes the importance of male involvement in female-oriented organizations, advocating for gender equality and challenging societal norms. Being “Man Enough” means serving as a positive male role model and helping girls build courage, confidence, and character through Girl Scouting.💚

Why was National Man Enough to be a Girl Scout Day created?

To encourage men’s participation and support of the Girl Scouts’ mission. It promotes the idea that everyone, regardless of gender, can contribute in valuable ways and diverse perspectives. When men volunteer in Girl Scouts, they can strengthen their parent-child relationship and help make the world a better, more inclusive place.

How should National Man Enough to be a Girl Scout Day be celebrated?
