National Library Outreach Day (formerly known as National Bookmobile Day) is a day in April that recognizes and appreciates the unheralded library staff who work silently to make libraries accessible to everyone. It also celebrates the bookmobile where library staff drive around the country to ensure we all have access to books (and even computer access on some bookmobiles). People can check out (and read) books and return them to the library or bookmobile.
