Why was National Gen X Day created? With the 77 million baby boomers having been in the spotlight for the last 80 years, and Millennials and Gen Z now getting all the attention, as the first of the Gen Xers turn 60, it’s time for them to get some recognition!

National Gen X Day is being created to ensure that their contributions—whether in technology, entertainment, or social change—receive the recognition they deserve. Plus, this is inspired by a special person to me, born right in the middle of the Generation – on June 16, 1975, my girlfriend Jen Hayoun…Which makes this a day of commemoration for her…Jen Xtravaganza!
