What is National Entrepreneurship Day? National Entrepreneurship Day celebrates and honors the hard work of those who had a dream and worked to achieve it. Entrepreneurs take a risk of failure so that they can help move the economy forward, improve our lives and and help others make a living.
Why was this day created? Throughout history, those who found a need and then created a solution for others have been the backbone of progress in the world. From the invention of the wheel to the internet, those who were able to look at a problem differently and create a solution for the problem have made life easier for the rest. Every day we use products and services created through the entrepreneurial spirit that make our lives better. From the lights that help us see to this very computer or device we are reading this on to the internet that allows us to gain information, all of it was created by an entrepreneur. Literally everything other than the nature around us was created by someone solving a problem. That is exactly what entrepreneurs do. It should be celebrated and honored.
