When will Conscious Day be celebrated? March 13th of each calendar year.
What is Conscious Day? Conscious Day (March 13) is a national day dedicated to inspiring individuals, businesses, and communities to make conscious choices that create a better world. Rooted in four key pillars—Sustainability, Inclusivity, Purpose, and Impact—the day encourages reflection and action, from adopting eco-friendly habits to supporting ethical businesses and driving meaningful change. Held during B Corp Month, it’s a powerful reminder that every decision we make shapes the future.
How should Conscious Day be celebrated or observed? Conscious Day is all about reflection and action, encouraging individuals, businesses, and communities to make conscious choices that align with sustainability, inclusivity, purpose, and impact. Here’s how to get involved:

- Unplug & Reflect – Take time away from distractions to journal, set intentions, or reassess habits that no longer serve you.
- Give Back – Support a cause, donate, or take part in a local initiative.
For Businesses:
- Highlight Your Purpose & Sustainability Efforts – Showcase how your business is making a difference.
- Engage Your Team – Organize a sustainability challenge, volunteer day, or learning session.

The Big Idea: Conscious Day is not just about one day of action—it’s about setting the foundation for lasting change. Whether you make a small personal commitment or launch a new business initiative, every conscious choice counts.
Join the movement and be part of creating a better future!
Why was Conscious Day created? Conscious Day (March 13) is being created to inspire individuals, businesses, and communities to pause, reflect, and take action towards a more sustainable, inclusive, and purpose-driven world.
The idea came during a period of deep reflection in Kenya, away from distractions, where I realized how important it is to live and work with greater awareness and intention. Too often, we move through life on autopilot—this day serves as a reminder to stop, assess, and make better choices that align with our values and create positive impact.
Built on four pillars—Sustainability, Inclusivity, Purpose, and Impact—Conscious Day encourages people to ask:
- What habits no longer serve us?
- What choices can create a better future?
- What will we change or create this year?
With March also being B Corp Month, this is the perfect time to showcase businesses that put purpose over profit and inspire others to do the same. The long-term vision? To grow Conscious Day into a full Conscious Week, driving even greater impact.
Because every conscious choice—no matter how small—has the power to shape a better world.
Who created this day? This day was created by Celia Gaze in 2025.
