What is the Second Amendment? The Second Amendment  to the United States Constitution protects the right of the people to keep and bear arms and was adopted on December 15, 1791 as part of the Bill of Rights. It was based partially on the right to keep and bear arms in English common law and was influenced by the English Bill of Rights of 1689.

What is 2A Day? 2A Day is a national day of observance, celebration, commemoration of the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution in order to honor our forefathers’ wisdom and the freedoms enshrined in our United States Constitution vis the Second Amendment.

Who founded this day? This day was created by Deborah Lane in 2019. 

How should this day be celebrated? This day should be celebrated and observed by spreading information about the meaning and significance of the Second Amendment including but not limited to parades, parties, fairs, gatherings, music festivals, and fireworks.
