What is National Chaco Day? May 1 is National Chaco Day—the day we officially kick off Chaco Season! Sure, every season is sandal season, but today we celebrate what Chacos are all about: having fun outside together. And it just so happens to be May Day (the happiest day of the year). So grab your crew, strap in, and make the most of the trails, rivers, and sunshine. Adventure feels better when we share it.
How should National Chaco Day be celebrated or observed? Definitely outside. Definitely having fun. And definitely together with others.
Why was National Chaco Dayt created? Chaco Nation is one of the most passionate, caring, and fun groups of people you will find. We are creating this day as a national celebration of the brand they all love and the adventures we have all had in our favorite outdoor sandals. It’s a sad day for many in the US when temps start to drop and they can no longer get away with wearing their sock-o’s (socks + chaco’s) – so we decided to celebrate the day we get those puppies back out for more fun outside together!
