What day is National Dance Day celebrated? Last Sat in July, i.e. July 28, 2018, July 27, 2019, July 25, 2020, July 31, 2021, July 30, 2022. However, some celebrate dance day as the third Saturday in September.

What is National Dance Day? National Dance Day was created to promote dancing as a form of entertainment and physical fitness. Dance is a fun way to maintain good health and lose weight.

Who created this day? National Dance Day was created in 2010 by “So You Think You Can Dance” co-creator and Dizzy Feet Foundation co-president Nigel Lythgoe. In addition, Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton introduced a National Dance Day resolution as a means of promoting dance education and physical fitness.

How to celebrate: Turn on the music and dance. Take a dancing lesson or hold a dance party at your house.
